His pioneering work has helped establish geoeconomics both as a scientific field and as a practically oriented business discipline.

Christian brings senior leadership experience from Nokia and Finland’s National Emergency Supply Agency. An expert in strategic resilience and risk management, his work focuses on building foresight capabilities and protecting critical economic infrastructure from systemic shocks. In addition to his role at ESF, Christian serves as Professor of Societal Resilience at Hanken School of Economics, where he contributes to advancing academic and applied knowledge on complex risk and preparedness systems.

Linda brings extensive experience in human resources, operations, and organizational development, having served as HR Manager at Algol Chemicals, at the software company Solera, and in various HR and admin roles at Nokia. At ESF, she oversees administration, internal operations, and team coordination to ensure our platform runs with precision, agility, and excellence.
